JUL 29--On a breezy summer night, JCCI & The Nippon Club held its 20th Music & Dinner Cruise, World Cup Night, welcoming our membership to set sail with us along the Hudson River. A staple of our summer programming, the cruise serves as an ideal occasion for corporate hospitality, internal networking, and celebratory events such as welcome or farewell parties while taking in the timeless NYC skyline and sights. Proceeds went toward the U.S.-Japan Council's TOMODACHI Women’s Empowerment Program, which supports promising female university students in Japan through mentorship, leadership development, and international training opportunities. By connecting participants with professional women leaders and providing hands-on learning experiences in both Japan and the United States, the program empowers young women to build the skills, confidence, and global perspective needed to succeed as future leaders in the international community.
