Membership Overview

Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New York, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, functions to help its members better understand the unique business practices and cultures of the United States and Japan. To achieve these goals, the Chamber sponsors various seminars, activities and events in an effort to enhance the alliances within the business and local communities of the New York Metropolitan area.

In 2001, began with new administrations in both Japan and the United States and with high expectations of kick-starting the stagnate economies. However, due to the 9/11 event and the Iraq War, global security, economy and markets have been rocked. Because of this, it is necessary for corporations to take the lead in restructuring businesses, rebuilding consumer moral and reinvigorating the global economy. JCCI's strong member network provides opportunities to make new business contacts, discuss current issues of interest, and participate in the revitalization of New York City.

We encourage you to consider membership and we are delighted to speak with you regarding any questions you may have. The membership fee is small; the benefits to your firm are great.
